FontAgent Pro 3, the successor to last year's Macworld Showtime Best of Show Award winner adds extensive font management and performance features while providing a suite of essential management tools for administrators and IT managers.

The latest version of the industry's premier font management software adds to its portfolio of powerful features. Release highlights include:

• Powerful live searching and fast filtering of font metadata. The new search feature examines fonts, weights, italics, families, libraries, foundries and custom comments and instantly displays results as the user enters criteria. Filtering can include activation date, shared date, and file format.
• User-configurable startup sets that allow users to create and maintain an unlimited number of startup sets.
• A new Setup Wizard that walks users through installation and setup for the ultimate in customization.

FontAgent Pro 3 also addresses requests made by administrators and IT managers who strive to maintain standard configurations across user systems. The new version enables them to stop users from adding, removing and renaming fonts, sets and libraries, as well as lock configuration settings for startup sets and preferences.

FontAgent Pro 3 has a suggested retail price of $99.95 and can be downloaded from www.insidersoftware.com. FontAgent Pro Workgroup Edition with serverless font sharing is priced at $129.95. Both versions are on sale at Macworld Expo. Users owning licenses of earlier versions of FontAgent Pro can upgrade to Version 3 Standalone Edition for $49.95 US. Upgrades to the workgroup edition are $64.95. CD versions of the release are available for $10 more plus shipping.
